Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T700
Here it is, the Sony DSC-T700, along with the free 4gb flash drive. I like its full metal body, but it is a little bulkier than my old Casio. Interface wise there's no buttons on the back, all menus are controlled via the touch screen, which will take some getting used to. It even comes with a small stylus dangle thing for drawing on your pictures. Will take the camera out for its first run tomorrow (Halloween!!), and try really hard not to drop it.

Camera update
Just got a call from the online retailer regarding my Sony Cybershot DSC-T700. Apparently they forgot to mention on their website that free shipping doesn't apply to Hawaii, it has to be shipped via 2nd day shipping, so that's $20. The guy also recommended getting a replacement battery that provides 3 hours of shoot time instead of the factory 45 minutes, fine, another $40. So I'm still paying $400 like I would if I bought it in the store, but at least I'll have my free 4gb flash drive and a back up battery.
There are slightly older models available that are less than $200 and just as good, but being a gadget whore that I am (and Steve too), gotta have the latest model!

New camera
Decided it's time for me to get a new camera after using the 6mp Casio Exilim for over 2 years. Been avoiding Sony cameras because of their use of Sony's proprietary (and expensive) memory stick, but after taking pictures with friend's Sony cameras at the last few weddings I came to a decision that it's time to give Sony a try (pictures came out much better than my Casio). Found a good deal for $344 w/ free shipping (regular is $399), and with a coupon code found online I also get a free 4gb Cruzer flash stick! Best feature of this camera is that it has 4gb internal memory, no need to buy those pricey memory sticks anytime soon.

ECU flashed
Got the ECU back from California today, installed it after work, reset the car, and went on a quick test drive. Throttle feels much more responsive, actually feels a lot like the new 2008 G35 sedans that has more power than my 2004 coupe. The re-flash raised the rev limiter from 6600rpm to 7100rpm which is closer to manual transmission cars. Fuel mapping is changed to provide more power, and the old 156mph speed limiter is removed. Steve, wanna go 170mph when you're in town?
